Announcing OpenRobOps 1.0: Open-Source Robot Operations, Ready for Production
Autonomous mobile robots are showing up everywhere — in warehouses, hospitals, airports, sidewalks. The robots themselves have gotten remarkably capable, but the way we operate fleets hasn't kept up: every vendor ships its own proprietary dashboard, every mixed fleet means disconnected views, and switching platforms means starting from scratch.
This is a familiar pattern in technology, and it's one open source has solved before. Linux gave servers a common foundation. ROS gave robot developers a shared framework. Robot operations deserves the same.
Today, we're thrilled to announce OpenRobOps 1.0 — the first stable release of an open-source, vendor-agnostic platform for robot fleet management and operations. Fully self-hostable, Apache 2.0 licensed, and ready for production fleets.
